If you've read any of my other posts, you may have come across a certain band called Imagine Dragons...Then again if you watch TV or have caught a few trailers that have come out recently then you'll already know them. Trust me.
And they're gonna be big. They're currently touring around Europe, in fact they just played London's Dingwalls in Camden.
I first heard one of their tracks on The Words trailer released earlier this year but very recently their music has been featured on The Perks of Being a Wallflower trailer and TV Spots (in England anyway) and just today when the trailer for The Host was released, their next single Radioactive is featured prominently.
By the way, while I have you here. If you haven't seen The Perks of Being a Wallflower... seriously, go see it, download it, get the DVD, rent it...I don't care, you just have to do it. It's such an amazing film. This is coming from someone who was expecting to hate it. I'm not a big Emma Watson fan, at all, and word about Ezra Miller is that he's a bit of a douche which tends to affect the way I watch his films, but I'm telling you, this is pretty much one of my favourite movie's this year. Logan Lerman is Charlie. Also, read the book.
Anyway, back to Imagine Dragons. New favourite band.
I just got their album last week and I've already worn it out.
The first song I heard was Demons. Enjoy below.
The song featured on The Perks trailer is It's Time, one of the best tracks on the album. Enjoy.
And the most recent track of their's to be released is Radioactive, the first song on their album, Night Visions, and also my favourite track on the album.
Another one of my favourite tracks from this album is just the catchiest song ever, I can't get it out of my head and the lyrics are such a stand out. In fact, the lyrics all over this album are superb and hit home in more ways than one.
On Top of The World
"And I know it's hard when you're falling down
And it's a long way up when you hit the ground
Get up now,
Get up,
Get up now."
Seriously, this whole album is just soooooo good. I can't get over it! Another track to go listen to when you have time is Bleeding Out. (UPDATE: I've been to see them live. Check out what I thought here.)
Now, just to move on from gushing about this band, I'm gonna post a song which I'm pretty sure everyone has heard by now cause it's officially on 3 current adverts on television and is featured on the Silver Linings Playbook trailer and TV spots, so I keep hearing it and it is also the most catchiest song EVER.
The Lumineers - Hey Ho
This song needs to be longer.

Underwater...
Joshua Radin - Underwater
LOVE this song and I am patiently (not) waiting for his album to come out on the 31st of July.
Right so, quite a few songs I want to let everybody know about because...well, they're awesome. First one is a song I recently heard on a film trailer. This one is called 'Demons' by Imagine Dragons and was featured on The Words trailer. I'm going to put the trailer below because I actually quite want to see this movie.
Bradley Cooper... YUM. Anyhoo... it's the song towards the end and here it is in full for your enjoyment. I immediately downloaded this song after watching this. (I actually spent money buying this track even though I'm flat broke!)
Imagine Dragons - Demons
Another song I found over the past 10 days or so is this gem by ALB called 'Golden Chains'. Now some may recognise this immediately from a funny/weird advert for a car... I forget which. I quite like this song purely cause it's quite joyful and it makes me laugh. Wait for the chorus, that's when it kicks in!
ALB - Golden Chains
OK I'm a huge movie fanatic if it's not already obvious and I love all kinds of movies. Seriously, I'm open to anything. I'm impatiently waiting for The Dark Knight Rises to come out right now and then there are a bunch of films out this year which I'm really looking forward to.
I'm a HUGE Jennifer Lawrence fan. 1.) Because she is amazing in Winter's Bone - the first movie I saw her in, and I recommend watching it. 2.) She was in The Hunger Games. 'Nuff said. The books are awesome, don't argue with me. 3.) She is perhaps one of the funniest people ever. Seriously just watch/read one or two of her interviews and it's all there. She completely cracks me up!
So the trailer for her next movie just came out (also featuring the b-e-a-utiful Bradley Cooper) called Silver Linings Playbook. I can't wait for this movie. Here. Watch.
Like someone said on twitter, it's a Jennifer Lawrence/Bradley Cooper DANCE MOVIE. Oh my gosh, I'm excited. And...Where the hell on earth has Chris Tucker been!? Seriously?!
Anyway, that's all for now. I'm seeing Laura Marling (again) on Saturday at the ROYAL ALBERT FREAKING HALL. Super excited. So I'm thinking a little Laura Marling spam blog will be up by the end of this week.

Shazam that shit.
I've been wanting to post for the past few days but I haven't gotten around to it... until now.
I shazam'd that shizzle straight away. It's a seriously great tune in my opinion and clearly from the comments on Youtube it's a song that has been used in several advertisements around the world.
Next up is 'Demons' by Sleigh Bells. I've not been super into Sleigh Bells, but every now and again I hear a song by them and it makes me want to listen to them more. This track is off their album Reign of Terror which was released this year. I'm pretty sure the first time I heard them was on a trailer for a movie and their song 'Kids' was used in an ad for a phone I think, and other things, so you've probably, definitely heard that one. So they get around a bit in the sync department, and this particular track I heard in an episode of Vampire Diaries but they've since released it as a single.
Enjoy.
I'll make this next one the last one and save the other tracks I'm obsessed with for the next post.
So this one was a toss up between The Civil Wars and The Fray. They're both just as sad as each other but ultimately I went with The Fray.
So, when I had a power cut at the house the other day, I made a crack on Twitter that I thought I might end up getting killed, and that I wanted The Fray to be played at my funeral. It was a joke.. sort of, but actually, not really. Seriously, this song needs to be played at my funeral. (any RL friends reading right now - take note.) The Fray - 'Be Still'
Again, it looks like this song has been used on a couple of TV shows. I'm a huge fan of the band and I have their albums but this song in particular I heard, again, on Vampire Diaries. I'm seriously in love with the shows Music Supervisor right now. He has amazing taste and is on twitter here if you like.
Anyway, that'll do for now because I've been listening to far too many depressing tracks lately and I'm pretty sure if I write any more we'll be diving down into some deep territory that we don't want to go.
Hope everyone's having a great weekend!

This last week I've found so many great new songs that I wasn't even sure which ones I was going to share, so there may be a few here.
First, I can not begin to explain how much I love Shazam. It's amazing, and since I got my new phone about a month ago I haven't stopped using it. Seriously, any time, anywhere... if there's a great song, I shazam that shit.
So, the first song I'm recommending is 'Be What You Want' by Robin Loxley and Oliver Jackson. Nope, I'd never heard of them before either but this song was featured on an advert for House and ER on one of the Sky channels.
I shazam'd that shizzle straight away. It's a seriously great tune in my opinion and clearly from the comments on Youtube it's a song that has been used in several advertisements around the world.
